Your Lake Clark National Park Bear Viewing Begins with a scenic 70 minute flight from Anchorage, viewing dramatic mountain ranges, active volcanoes, and untouched Alaska Landscape. Arrive at Redoubt Mountain Lodge and take in the scenery of a true wilderness setting. Redoubt Mountain Lodge sits in the heart of the Chigmit Mountains on the glacier fed waters of Crescent Lake. Its namesake, Redoubt Volcano, is only 8 miles from the lodge and offers a surreal backdrop to an already stunning setting. Tour by boat around the lake and river watching bears teach their young to fish and forage.
Bear Viewing on Crescent Lake you can watch these amazing creatures chase spawning salmon through shallow pools. Professional guides will accompany you and provide information on wildlife and the surrounding area. Take a mid – day break and enjoy a prepared lunch back at the lodge. After lunch decide what you would like to do for the second half of the day, whether it be viewing more bears, going for a short hike, kayaking around the lake, or simply relaxing on the spacious deck. No crowds or other lodges, just solitude and wildlife.

What to Bring and Wear:
· Comfortable Shoes – These do not have to be hiking shoes, but no open toed sandals.
· Camera
· Binoculars – if you do not have any you may share some with the bear guide
· Layered Clothing – Always be ready for any temperature range, bring a rain shell in case of rain
